Hello and thank you for your interest in racing with Hottrax Motorsport Racing Club Ltd

We are a new club formed to fulfil the needs of riders who want to race as a team and compete in a race that lasts for more than 10 minutes. Endurance racing is all about bike preparation, stamina and above all teamwork. No one person in a team is more important than the other from the lap record breaking rider to the timekeepers.

Our web site at www.hottrax-motorsport.co.uk contains all of the information that you may need to go racing or from the club membership forms to the technical regulation and of course the entry forms. Get yourselves organized and join the HMRC now for spectacular racing in 2007.

HMRC Racing Club Overview

Two different championships are being run, The HMRC National Endurance Championships and the HMRC Junior TAG Endurance Championship.

The National Endurance Championship is over 5 rounds and all are 6 hour races and one 8 hour race.

The Junior TAG Endurance Championship is to be run over 5 rounds and all races are 2 hours.

The Junior class is designed to attract all types of riders from the track day rider to the complete novice rider. It is a cheap means of entry into the world of Endurance Racing and we hope that you will enjoy it so much that you will wish to progress to the main event in the future.
Both Championships will be started in a Le-Mans style with the bikes lined up at the side of the track being held by a mechanic while the rider runs across the track to there machine, a spectacular start to any event.
The mostly 2 day events will mean that you will get great value for money, the Junior Championship is run over the first day and the National Championship run over 2 days. Both Championships will get free practice, qualifying, warm up and a race. You as a rider could get up to 3.5 hours of riding time over a weekend. Where else can you get this sort of value for money at some of the best race circuits in the country.

Circuits and Events

We have secured some great circuits considering we are a new club, our presence in the market place running track days and Academy training event means we spend a lot of money with the circuits and we hope to go from strength to strength over the next 5 years at least. Our plans include a 24 hour race in the future but we need your support next year to prove Endurance Racing can work in the future. Venues this year are Snetterton (6 hour and 8 hour), Pembrey, Silverstone National and Knockhill in Scotland. Widely spread to cater for all or our members. We hope that you can race in every round of your chosen Championship.

Club Membership

To race you must join our club, download the membership form and complete it. If you would like to send your ACU licence application form to us for signing we are happy to do so. Just remember to enclose the completed from, your payment, a photograph and a stamped, self addressed envelope.
To join the club costs £25 for a rider, £15 for a team manager, £10 for an official and an optional £250 for team registration. Team registration is a guarantee of an entry and a consistent race number. If you compete in all the rounds the registration fee will be refunded at the end of the year. If you just intend to do one or two rounds then don't register, just get your entries in on time and you may get a place.
