One advantage of Endurance Racing! |
Junior TAG Endurance Series 2 Hour Junior Endurance Race Series with Le Mans style grid start 2 Classes including Junior 1000cc and Junior 600cc No restriction on the bikes used so road bikes, track bikes and race bikes are allowed as long as the basic safety rules have been adhered to such as wired sump plugs and race numbers applied. Format is for minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 riders with 2 or 3 different bikes competing in a transponder relay or TAG race. Each rider passes the transponder to the next at the pit stop. This avoids the requirement for pit crew and refueling, only 2 timekeepers and 1 mechanic are required. This is a low cost entry into Endurance racing and the hope is that teams will progress to the National Endurance Championships in later years. Series is open to Track Day riders as well as racers but all must have an ACU licence. The format includes practice, qualifying and a race all on one day. Championship Points and trophies are awarded at each round and prize money and trophies awarded at the end of the year
