Whats new in 2012?
MODERN CLASSIC SUPRBIKES AND SUPERCUP, DUCATI DESMO CLASS 1C, DUCATI DESMO DUE (Run by Hottrax this year), MOTO 3 PRODUCTION JUNIOR CUP, HOTTRAX STREET TRIPLE CUP!
MODERN CLASSIC SUPERBIKES AND SUPERCUP + DUCATI DESMO CLASS 1C
Our Modern Classic Superbike Championship is an idea I have been playing with since my racing career when I competed on a Kawasaki ZX7RR, the best bike I ever had. Now you can enjoy great value racing for what will be a spectacular event! An ex-works Kawasaki ZX7RR would still be able to out perform most current bikes in capable hands.
A second Modern Classic Supercup Championship will also run for the less advanced machines road based machines. This would give us the 2 tier structure so important to Hottrax Motorsport allowing fair competition for all abilities and budgets. Riders over 30 only! Novices are eligible for Supercup
Ducati Desmo Class 1C is run with the Supercup and is for essentially 10 year old bikes of large capacity such as the 916 or 888 etc. Organised by the Ducati Sporting Club and run bu us at Hottrax, it has it's own regulations.
MOTO 3 PRODUCTION JUNIOR CUP
The Moto 3 Production Junior Cup will bring in younger riders as well as streamline the classes to provide a fantastic event which all can enjoy. This is in the form of a 250cc single cylinder Championship, surely the future as 2 strokes die out at all levels. 12 to 18 year olds only! Now includes Michelin Tyres and Michelin Hospitality over the weekend too! Moto 3 starter class maybe?
HOTTRAX STREET TRIPLE CUP
Just released is the Street Triple Cup, based on the Triumph Street Triple and Triple R bike. It is a streetbike style and will be a close fought championship with strict controls on power output. Novice and Experienced riders are welcome. Bikes from 2007 are welcome.
ENDURANCE, MICHELIN POWER CUP, MOTOGRANDE ETC
Existing classes such as the Endurance, MotoGrande and Michelin Power Cup will remain basically unchanged. We will drop Streetbikes due to lack of interest. Keep looking for more details.
Full details of all the classes are available through the web site.
