MICHELIN POWER CUP CALENDAR

What is it all about?

It is about a Championship run at our Hottrax Motorsport race meetings and supported by Michelin Tyres.

It is about great value racing with substantial cash prizes and building a community in the paddock.

Above all it is about a fantastic opportunity to you enjoy competitve racing at a high level.

What do you get?

  1. You get at least 8 rounds over 2 days at some of the best circuits in the UK
  2. You get long distance racing and 3 races per weekend together and timed practice and Superpole Qualifying
  3. You can win prizes during each event and at the end of the season. Championship winners will get £750 for 1st place, £500 for 2nd place and £250 for 3rd place for each class plus tyre prizes per round. End of season prizes also include tyres. Trophies for top 3 are given at each event and at the end of the year.
  4. This year we have a Rookie Championship for new riders within the main Power Cup Championships, classes are Rookie 600 and Rookie 1000
  5. Entry fees are again from £199 for each round
  6. Register for just £99 which includes a race number for the year, club membership and a Michelin Jacket. (Jacket not included after 1st February 2012)
  7. One off rides are also possible, call us for details.
  8. Optional Premium registration is available for £200 which also includes £15 off all 2012 Hottrax Motorsport test days and track days
  9. Paddock hospitality is available to Michelin runners in the form of a Bar'B'Que with free food and drink in the evenings.
  10. Novices are eligible and have their own Championship
  11. Slicks, Wets and Treaded Michelin Tyres may be used
  12. Much more will become available as prizes, we will let you know.

Michelin Power Cup 1000 Series

4 cylinder over 595cc to 600cc

3 cylinder over 625cc to 675cc

2 cylinder over 625cc to 750cc

Number plates: White background, Blue numbers

Michelin 17" or 16.5" slick, treaded and full wets are allowed.

4 cylinder over 600cc to 1000cc

3 cylinder over 750cc to 1000cc

2 cylinder over 850cc to 1200cc

Number plates: White background, Black Numbers

Michelin 17" or 16.5" slick, treaded and full wets are allowed.
